The best-selling premium executive car of its era in Poland and a very complete car: lightweight aluminium-intensive body, a huge Avant, and an engine range that runs from a frugal 2.0 TDI to the 605 hp RS6 performance. The 3.0 TDI quattro with S tronic is the definitive version; the front-wheel-drive Multitronic cars are the ones to approach with a service history in hand. The 2014 facelift brought LED lights as standard, Matrix LED as an option, updated engines and, importantly, the end of the Multitronic.

The entry diesel, manual only. Slow for a car this size and often a fleet car; fine as a cheap, economical A6 if the history is clean.
The volume pre-facelift diesel in Poland: adequate performance, 5–6 l/100 km on the motorway, cheap parts. Manual cars are the safer buy; Multitronic cars need proof of oil changes.
Facelift economy diesel on the newer EA288 base, manual only. Rare in Poland compared with the 190.
The facelift four-cylinder diesel: EA288 with AdBlue, 7-speed S tronic instead of Multitronic, quattro available from 2015. The sensible A6 for high-mileage drivers who do not need a V6.
Entry petrol, front-wheel drive, manual or Multitronic. Cheap to buy; check oil consumption and the timing chain tensioner like any second-generation EA888.
Full hybrid pairing the 2.0 TFSI with an electric motor and 8-speed tiptronic, front-wheel drive. Very rare in Poland; battery age and specialist knowledge are the concerns.
Smooth naturally aspirated V6 but underpowered for the weight. Direct-injection carbon build-up and rear-mounted timing chains make a documented history important; quattro S tronic cars are preferable.
Facelift entry petrol on the third-generation EA888. Adequate, cheap to run and free of the older chain problems; a good choice for low-mileage urban buyers.
The quick four-cylinder petrol of the facelift range with S tronic and optional quattro. Brisk and refined; the pick for petrol buyers who do not want a V6.
Supercharged V6, always quattro with 7-speed S tronic. Quick, refined and undervalued in Poland because most buyers filter for diesel.
Minor update of the supercharged V6; same character, slightly more power. Also used in the pre-facelift allroad.
Facelift version of the supercharged V6. The best-balanced petrol A6 short of the S6, and the engine in the facelift allroad 3.0 TFSI.
The economy V6 diesel. Front-wheel-drive cars use the Multitronic CVT, which needs rigorous oil changes; quattro cars with S tronic are the better buy and the entry engine of the allroad.
The definitive pre-facelift A6: 245 hp, quattro and 7-speed S tronic. Effortless, economical for the performance, and plentiful, which means condition and history separate the good ones from the tired ones.
Facelift economy V6 diesel with S tronic (Multitronic dropped). Quiet and frugal; quattro versions are preferable for resale and are what the facelift allroad starts with.
The facelift successor to the 245: more torque, AdBlue, better refinement. The mainstream choice for 2015–2018 cars and the best all-round A6 C7.
Sequential twin-turbo diesel with the 8-speed tiptronic and a sound actuator. Very fast and rare; the two-turbo system and its electronic actuator are costly when they fail.
Facelift twin-turbo diesel with 8-speed tiptronic. Rare and rapid; budget for the complexity.
Limited-run BiTDI with 326 hp, sport differential, 21-inch wheels and black styling. Genuinely rare in Poland; verify it is a factory competition, not a BiTDI with badges.
Twin-turbo V8 with cylinder-on-demand and 7-speed S tronic. Early cars need evidence of timing-chain tensioner and turbo health.
Facelift S6: 450 hp and the updated V8. A lot of car for the money if the history is complete; the Avant is the one to have.
Avant-only RS6 with 8-speed tiptronic, air suspension (or optional Dynamic Ride Control) and supercar performance. Check for tuning, brake wear and complete Audi service history.
The most powerful C7. Rare in Poland and often imported; verify provenance and originality.

Well equipped as standard: xenon (later LED) lights, MMI, leather or leather/Alcantara, dual-zone climate; four-zone, navigation and comfort items were options.
Exterior package (bumpers, sills, badges, larger wheels), optionally sport suspension, sport seats and interior trim. It is a styling and seating package, not a mechanical upgrade.
Watch out: Very commonly claimed on the basis of badges or a steering wheel alone. Ask whether the car has S line exterior, interior, or both, and whether it is on the original order.
326 hp BiTDI, sport differential, black optics and 21-inch wheels. A distinct, rare model rather than a trim line.
Watch out: Competition badges and black optics are retrofitted to ordinary BiTDI cars; the VIN and 326 hp on the registration settle it.
Avant-based crossover with adaptive air suspension as standard (raised by up to 60 mm), quattro on every version, contrast cladding, underbody guards and only V6 engines.
Watch out: Not confused with regular Avants often, but the standard air suspension means every allroad carries the strut/compressor ageing risk.
The 4.0 TFSI V8 model with S-specific adaptive air suspension, quattro as standard and sport differential optional. Sedan and Avant.
Watch out: Some base cars wear S6 badges, bumpers and quad tailpipes; the VIN and engine code settle it.
Avant-only 560 or 605 hp twin-turbo V8, 8-speed tiptronic, wide body, RS-specific suspension and brakes.
Watch out: RS6 body kits on S6 and even base Avants exist; a genuine car has a wide-arch body that cannot be faked with bumpers alone. Check VIN.
The most common premium executive car on the Polish market. Supply is dominated by 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI quattro imports from Germany, with Avants outnumbering sedans; ex-fleet cars with 250,000+ km are everywhere and priced accordingly. The spread between a tired example and a documented one is large. Petrol 3.0 TFSI cars are undervalued relative to their appeal because most buyers filter for diesel, and the allroad carries a steady premium.
